Happy Birthday, Jessie!

I'm sure many of you know that today is Jessie's 19th birthday!

Succumbing to my writer's block, I've decided the best and most sincere thing to do is to simply wish Jessie the happiest of birthdays!

I'd bet that at her last birthday Jessie couldn't have imagined all that she was to do and achieve before her next birthday - the stuff of dreams for many. However, Jessie has materialised those dreams and I really hope and wish that she achieves all of her other dreams and aspirations in the future and over the next year.

Right now nothing seems more fitting than an apt quote from Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing",

"There was a star danced, and under that was I born."

19, my goodness, I was a little over one month in the NAVY, bootcap, boo, I went on to like the NAVY, though and the travel it offered.

This is about Jessie, though and what she has done so far. Not an overnight success by any way of thinking, she's been an artist almost all her life, just more people are aware of it now :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! and may you grow and grow and grow, (artistically) and get better and better and better, (darn that John), and achieve that greatest of all pursuits, HAPPINESS!

From Jackie as she's having computer problems:

Time out from cranberries,Stilton,smoked salmon,pheasant,truffles,
and bronze roast turkey,
Time out from losing tennis, baseball and bowling to kids on the Wii,
Time out and help a Waitrose worker weave a message for Jessie.
Time out I'll try my best to endeavour,
A belated wish is better than never...
Had canapes champagne galore...the in laws now out of hair on M4.

As bosses go there Nunn is but the best,
But in theatre not even a Sunday Birthday
granted a day of rest,
A working Birthday is sadly a must,
Take to the stage today,go earn your crust.

Forget delicious Delia's springy sponges,
And naughty Nigella fruity rich mix,
A busy girl at work needs a short cut recipe fix,
Flickering flames,make a wish ,chill out,relax,
Take a brief break,
Then with one breath over your special bake,
blow out all nineteen candles,
On your fabulous, factory made Menier Chocolate cake!

Hope you had a super Birthday Jessie and can have a rest and catch up with the celebrations today.

May the coming year bring everything that you wish for and thanks for all the joy you have brought to me and all of us this year.
